Amanda and Darren are the perfect hosts for this very friendly pub that I have been using in business trips for the past two years.

Amanda's home cooking is just perfect for a proper selection of seasonal veg or generous salad with each dish. Most of the food is locally sourced and I would recommend the Pin Steak.

A wonderful place for lunch and the small meals are perfect if you want to be active in the afternoon.

The homemade puddings are delicious, really great pastry and the gammon steak I had in the evening was perfectly cooked and served with proper homemade chips. Great value, great service.

The pub its self is modest but comfortable. We had a 3 course meal. The food was of a very good standard and reasonably priced. Generous portions of roast beef and fresh veggies, great starter and desert.

The young girls waiting where polite and very efficient.
